How to raise billions of dollars and change the world

In Cryptocurrency, Free Market Miracles, natural rights, True nature of the State on December 30, 2017 at 12:02 am

Those who attempt to use the force of government to improve material progress and the moral improvement of society will always be disappointed by the results.

Government is force. It can never be a charitable or a moral institution. It’s mainly funded through Taxation, which is the taking of the property of one person and giving it to another. When the government spends more then it brings in with taxes it borrows money from the Federal Reserve. Both of these actions produce havoc in the economy, make people poorer, encourages envy and enmity between those in power and those seeking power, and destroys individual initiative.

That is the problem with politics. Two parties vie to buy the votes of 50.1% of the population in order to control the power to tax, borrow, spend and regulate. The party that buys the votes of the majority now has unlimited power over the remaining minority.

That is why there is so much vitriol in politics. It will always be this way because it creates a ruling and ruled class. If we keep looking to the state to create prosperity and cure the ills of society we will continue to get the same results. Trillions of debt, a divided society, and an enormous bureaucratic and increasingly violent police state that crushes individual initiative and voluntary cooperation.

There is a far better way to get people to work together than to force people at the barrel of a gun to cooperate in an attempt to create wealth, peace and prosperity for all.

Voluntary cooperation is the only true way to produce lasting material and moral progress. Civilization advances not by government edict but through the creative acts of individuals adapting to and shaping their environments through experimentation and voluntary cooperation.

Now we have the technology to connect like minded individuals around the world in order to combine their creativity, intelligence and capital to build businesses, start charities and other types of organizations that can create positive change in the world. The rapidly evolving technologies of cryptocurrencies, blockchain and smart contracts will make this extremely easy to implement.

I call this type of invention a Voluntary Crypto-secured Capital Pool (VCSCP). These are self directed, self funded, organizations that individuals who agree on a specific purpose for the accumulated funds.

Most people complain that what we need is capital! Here is a way in which anyone in the world can become involved in helping to acquire and spend massive amounts of capital that can be used to start businesses or charitable organizations. This is how you can raise billions and change the world!

Here are the startling numbers of how quickly a relatively small group of people can accumulate massive amounts of capital in a short period of time. These examples are based on the belief that individuals who want to positively affect the world will be willing to contribute a $1 or $5 per week to their preferred VCSCP.

1. One million people contributing $1 per week would have at the end of 52 weeks $52,000,000. How many urban farms could be funded with this? How many meals could be bought for the homeless?

2. One million people contributing $5 per week would have at the end of 52 weeks $260,000,000. That’s over a quarter of a billion dollars!

3. Ten million people contributing $1 per week would have at the end of 52 weeks $520,000,000. Could you think of ways this could be spent to create positive change in the world?

4. Ten million people contributing $5 per week would have at the end of 52 weeks $2,600,000,000. That’s two billion six hundred million dollars! What business couldn’t be started with this amount of money? How many millions of people could be fed, houses and educated with this amount of money?

The idea that capital is in hands of only a few is totally wrong. The problem with capital is that we don’t realize we already have it and that it’s just dispersed. Everyone who has just $4 per month has the capital to contribute to a VCSCP and change their life and the lives of potentially millions.

We no longer live in a world in which only banks can decide who gets the funds needed to open a business. Nor do those who want to improve the world have to spend billions in an attempt to gain the levers of power to help others.

I do believe that most socialists, communists and conservatives are compassionate people and have been sold the wrong idea that only through forced cooperation made possible by government can things get better.

Those who’ve sold this idea of Collectivism to the majority of people are the very people who benefit from the current political system. The media benefits through increased advertising ads, politicians benefit from donations and increased power, professors benefit through consultation and appearance fees as well as government largesse for the university system. All the pundits, media personalities and politicians who are currently involved in drumming up the political hysteria on the MAGA side and the Resistance side are benefiting in some way.

Those who ultimately pay the price for all this political fighting are the normal individuals who only want a better life for themselves and those they love.

Through VCSCPs individuals in this country and those around the world can pool massive amounts of capital for whatever purposes they want it to go for with no need for the political process. Each one will be a separate entity that could be for profit or strictly for charitable purposes.

VCSCPs would be extremely easy to set up and to administer due to the use of new technologies. By utilizing cryptocurrencies these pools would allow small weekly contributions, be able to hold massive amounts of wealth without the need for banks and utilize blockchain technology and smart contracts to enable all the contributors to vote on fund distribution.

These funds could be held for years or be put to use immediately. Let’s say a group wants to accumulate an endowment to help the homeless. A million people decide to give one dollar a week for five years and then only use the investment gains would be used to help feed and clothe the homeless. The principal amount would never be spent.

In five years the endowment would be worth $260,000,000. If it could earn 5% per year then $13,000,000 could be used in perpetuity to help feed, clothe and house homeless people. Now imagine hundreds or thousands of these type of VCSCPs operating around the globe without the bloated and corrupt overhead of government bureaucracy. Think of it as a streamlined automated charity.

Now let’s say a hundred thousand people in a city want to have more locally grown organic foods. They contribute $5 per week for 52 weeks. At the end of the year they’ll have a pool of capital of $26,000,000. How many organic urban farms can be funded by this pool of capital?

Let’s say on average a half acre organic urban farm costs about $40,000 to get up and running. That means up to 650 mini organic farms could be created. They might not want to do that so they only fund 100 the first year to see how it goes and all the while they continue contributing because they believe that more organic local food should be produced.

Next year they’ll have the expertise of the the ten farms plus a pool of capital of $48,000,000 plus a percentage of the profits from the farms. Now they can expand into larger farms, create farmers markets, create organic products from the excess produce or other opportunities that they decide. Hundreds or thousands of jobs would be created – people who contributed could be employed by the VCSCP as well. That’s a win-win.

Capital isn’t the problem now. The real problem will be how to decide on what type of business you want to be a part of.

This works on a smaller scale as well.

Let’s say you have a network of 500 people who want to have a park in their area. Instead of relying on the force of government to create it, this small group of people can accumulate enough cash to make it happen. In two years they’ll have $260,000 in capital contributed. That’s enough to buy a few acres and to install a walking trail.

The following years they’ll continue to contribute and make improvements and to fund upkeep. How awesome would it be to have your name on a brick on that walking trail? Instead of having the name of a politicians or bureaucrats associated with the park it will have the names of the actual people who payed for it.

Now when the park users see one of the park founders they thank them directly. This helps to create community.

The uses for these pools of capital, whether small or enormous are endless.

Each VCSCP would have its own rules as to what the funds will be used for and how much of a consensus would be needed for the distribution of the funds. By using the blockchain the people contributing will have a direct vote on how the funds are spent. Smart contracts will lock funds away until a consensus is reached.

The administration and the contributions could all be handled through a smartphone. Each VCSCPs would have their own app that would allow individual contributors to vote, set up their weekly contributions, suggest projects to fund and keep track in real time progress of any projects being funded.

Unlike with taxation the money contributed to VCSCP’s are voluntary and the spending is directly voted on. I believe when people join these VCSCPs which support their favorite causes or create the businesses they want to have in their communities they will no longer be interested in the struggle for control of the State.

VCSCPs could implement the changes in the world that people want to see in a peaceful and voluntary way. Feelings of community and friendship will be increased when individuals join together without force to help their fellow humans.

Politics will always breed hatred and mistrust in society. That’s because with a two party system the majority has unlimited power over the minority. Voluntary cooperation increases peace, prosperity and harmony because individuals are working together towards shared goals.

Peace and prosperity are what we all want. Politics and government create violence between individuals and countries. With the borderless nature of cryptocurrencies VCSCPs could be joined by people from anywhere in the world.

An example would be if a group of people around the world who were all against war wanted to help those who’ve been hurt by it. They could pool their capital through a VCSCP and buy a hospital type ship and park it off the coast of a war torn country. They could buy the supplies and pay for the staff to heal those who are being killed and maimed. And at the same time they could paint on the side of the ship in huge letters “End War”.

This is an exciting time to be alive. Anyone who wants to create positive change in the world can do so. Lacking the money is no longer an excuse. Lacking political power is no longer an excuse. Individuals have the power to cooperate and help shape the uncertain future.

I envision a world where millions of these VCSCPs are funding new businesses and creating new charities that are borderless that will help bring about the biggest leap in prosperity and peace the world has ever seen.

I don’t have all the answers. No one does. But individuals cooperating together have the best chance at improving the state of the world. That’s what’s great about voluntary cooperation – you have millions and millions of people experimenting, analyzing and adapting to an ever changing world. This is what Adam Smith called “Spontaneous Order”.

If you are interested reading more about the benefits of voluntary cooperation I “highly recommend Auberon Herbert’s The Voluntaryist Creed” and “A Plea for Voluntaryism”.

Further collectivization of healthcare will embolden the Drug War

In Medicinal Freedom, natural rights, True nature of the State on December 28, 2017 at 3:25 pm

From Ayn Rand’s Textbook of Americanism:

Individualism holds that man has unalienable rights that cannot be taken away from him by any other man, any number, group or collective of men. Therefore each man exists by his own right and for his own sake, not for the sake of the ngroup.

Collectivism holds that man has no rights; that his work, his body and his personality, belong to the group; that the group can do with him as it pleases, in any manner it pleases, for the sake of whatever it decides to be its own welfare. Therefore, each man lives by permission of the group and only for sake of the group.

https://fee.org/media/4959/textbook-of-americanism-by-ayn-rand.pdf

Our current system of healthcare is a mixture of government licensed monopolies and good ole fashioned communism. Those who advocate for a single payer healthcare system or more government intervention into the healthcare sector are asking for more communism which is another term for collectivization.

The great struggle is always between individualism versus collectivism.

If you believe in the second Amendment you also believe in individualism. If you believe that individuals have the right to consume Marijuana then you believe in individualism. If you believe the War on Drugs should be ended then you believe in Individualism.

Unfortunately the current political debate is carried out in sound bites and is meant to divide and segregate individuals into groups. That’s how collectivism works. Those groups then clamor gain the levers of power to usa

e the force of government to force others to live as they see fit. They use words like “social cost” or “societal impact” to justify limiting the choices of others.

The War on Drugs is based on the idea that social costs trump individual choice. Any rational thinking person can clearly see the horrible consequence that Drug Prohibition has caused. For most though they don’t see this as “government intervention” or the further “collectivization” of America. More government intervention into healthcare or A Single Payer healthcare system is based upon the same philosophy. Not only are they politically aligned they are inseparable.

As the government pays for (by taking from others or borrowing from future generations) more and more healthcare more and more experts will be supportive of the War on Drugs. The reason is simple, when the state pays for healthcare every individual choice becomes subject to government scrutiny.

When experts and politicians speak about Social costs or public policy you can guarantee that they are peddling the further erosion of your individual freedom. The Drug War is the biggest erosion of human liberty that we are currently living under, besides the inflationary banking system. Which coincidentally is also a mixture of monopolies and communism.

I believe that the average America who advocates for a single payer healthcare system or clamors for more government regulation of healthcare is doing so because they want a better more effective system that is also affordable. For a lot of people the Single Payer Healthcare idea is the only option they are exposed to that they believe will lead to their desired outcome.

I advocate for another alternative to the current Monopoly/Collectivist model of medicine and that is simply Medical Freedom.

Medical Freedom is the elimination of all the restrictions of individuals to purchase, grow, sell or trade in medicines that they believe will help ease their suffering or increase their wellbeing. This will allow individuals to grow their own medicines in their backyard or purchase medicines at a greatly reduced price because market forces will enter back into the healthcare system.

This is an alternative that the political class, insurance companies, the media, the big pharmaceutical companies, the AMA, the DEA, the FDA, the CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services never talk about because in an atmosphere of Medical Freedom they will be deprived of their power and it will be rightfully restored back to the individual through the power of choice.

If you are against the War on Drugs and understand how destructive it is to individuals and society then you should also support the elimination of government interference in the choices individuals make regarding their health and wellbeing.

Just as we have separation of church and state, we also need the separation of medicine and state.

The Bill of Rights is based upon the philosophy of individualism. The belief that individuals have innate inalienable rights and that they own themselves. The current healthcare system and the War on Drugs are based on the idea that you don’t own yourself and that any rights you have are granted by the state. And they can be changed and altered as the political climate changes. This collectivist ideology is extremely dangerous and has led to the death of hundreds of millions by governments around the world.

I believe that deep down everyone would prefer the Freedom of choice in their healthcare decisions and their life in general. When we have Medial Freedom restores in this country the cost of medicine will plummet because individuals will be able to grow Cannabis, Poppy Plants and mushrooms in their backyard.

With a medicinal garden based around these three easily grown plants and fungi most of human ailments can be successfully treated. Physical pain is taken care of by the Poppy Plant. Inflammatory conditions can be mediated by compounds found in Cannabis and certain types of mushrooms. Emotional and existential issues along with addictions could be eased or even eliminated through the careful use of mushrooms containing psilocybin.

A backyard pharmacy would free individuals and families from relying on big pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies to treat a majority of the ailments that can afflict humans. It’s not for everyone and many people including myself would want to combine the best of the homegrown natural medicines with what mankind has created. In an atmosphere of Medicinal Freedom we’ll be able to do just that.

When we have true Medicinal Freedom in this country Pharmaceutical companies will no longer be protected under their monopoly arrangement with the government. The FDA would no longer have the power to allow them to sell dangerous drugs into the marketplace. If they want to stay in business they’ll have to provide more effective, less expensive and safer drugs to compete with the homegrown variety.

More government intervention is not the answer to lowering medical costs. Increasing Medical Freedom is the answer. Ending the War on Drugs and ending the prescription restriction model of medicine is the first steps in making this a reality.

Why Bitcoin over Banks?

In Banking, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Liberty, True nature of the State on December 25, 2017 at 10:41 pm

Do you remember the 2008 World Financial Collapse? Do you remember the politicians and central bankers clamoring to bail out the banks and the entire financial system? They got their bailouts, did you? I know I didn’t and neither did the vast Majority of the American People.

The Bailouts were orchestrated by the Federal Reserve, The Secretary of the Treasury in league with the politicians in Washington. When they first tried to pass the TARP bailout the America people said no. But the banksters convinced the politicians that the financial sky was falling and that everything would collapse if they weren’t bailed out. So TARP was finally passed on 10-03-2008.

From that point on Banks were being bailed out left and right, Credit Card Companies and Insurance Companies were having their corporate structures changed to “Banks” so they could get bailed and an undisclosed number of companies received direct bailouts from the Federal Reserve, all the while individuals lost their homes to foreclosure, took pay cuts to keep their jobs or lost them completely.

Back in 2008 we had no viable option to exit this corrupt and inherently unstable financial system dictated by the Federal Reserve. Fast forward to today, we now have Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies which are the first true alternative to the US Dollar based financial system. More and more people are catching on to the possibilities of cryptocurrencies and they have a combined value of over five hundred billion dollars.

Do you think the banksters who failed to predict the financial collapse in 2008  would be welcoming this new technology that offers the individual an alternative to their Central Banking Cartel that spans the globe?

The answer is not surprisingly NO.

All those in the Central Banking ecosystem hate cryptocurrencies. They hate it because they can’t profit from it and they can’t control it. That is exactly why it was created.

Satoshi Nakamoto was inspired to create Bitcoin because of the Bank Bailouts of 2008 and 2009. He cemented this fact into the “Genesis Block”, the first Bitcoin Block mined on January 3, 2009 by including a copy of the Financial Times Newspaper with the headline “Chancellor on Brink of Second Bank Bailout”. This was the British version of TARP.

Why should anyone now listen to the former peddlers of TARP and the trillion of dollars of bailouts who are bashing Bitcoin?

Recently Ben Bernake the Former Head of the Federal Reserve said that:

“Bitcoin is an attempt to replace fiat currency and evade regulation and government intervention. I don’t think that’s going to be a success,”

I disagree that Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are an attempt to replace fiat currencies they are simply digital currencies that are competing with it.  The vast majority of people using cryptocurrencies aren’t criminals. Currently the financial system is providing the money to fight the wars around the world, building and filling up the prisons with millions for simply possessing a plant and keeping the banksters pockets fat with profits.

He further went on to answer if he thought Bitcoin was a rival to government controlled fiat money:

“Eventually governments will take any action they need to prevent [that],” he said.

You can feel the arrogance dripping from these statements. The Federal Reserve is as private organization. Its not a government entity. It is not something that the Constitution of the United States ever authorized. The Federal Reserve was created by an act of Congress passed in 1913. If you want to read about how a small powerful group of bankers conspired to create the Federal Reserve read:

Creature from Jekyll Island

Here are some of other quotes from Ben Bernake the former head of the Federal Reserve who is certain that Governments will eventually crush Bitcoin.

“The U.S. government has a technology, called a printing press (or today, its electronic equivalent), that allows it to produce as many U.S. dollars as it wishes at no cost. Ben Bernake 2002

This isn’t true at all.  Inflation is a true cost that affects every single American. As the number of dollars chases the same amount of goods prices increase. We all can see inflation right before our eyes. The Federal Reserve and the Federal Government don’t track the everyday stuff people use and so they say that there isn’t any inflation or that its at their 2% target. Thats a complete load of bull.

Everything costs more due to inflation. And the people who work for a living are always behind inflation because the goods and services go up in cost throughout the year and if their lucky they may get a 2% increase. Then if they’ve saved any money the money in their savings account is worth 2% less than it was last year as well.

Not only does direct inflation chew away at our savings and make the goods and services we rely on cost more it also causes whats called “Shrinkflation”. This is the practice of companies hiding the cost of inflation by keeping the price the same while offering a product in smaller size or lesser amount.

Check out this article further illustrating the devastating effect of Shrinkflation on the average consumer.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-24/shrinkflation-how-food-companies-implement-massive-price-hikes-without-you-ever-noti

Shrinkflation can be seen throughout the grocery store. Anyone who has bought a Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream pie is a lot smaller than they used to be. This goes the same for potato chips and packs of bacon. A large “Party Size” bag of chips used to be 160z. Now they are only 12 oz or even 10 oz in some cases. The next time you buy a pack of bacon check to see if it’s a full pound or merely 12oz.  Bernake and his ilk don’t account for this shrinkflation which their printing presses cause.

They act so smug and they pretend to be economic oracles. This is a total fiction which has caused misery and mayhem in society. Bernake in particular had no clue about the coming housing crisis.

“We’ve never had a decline in house prices on a nationwide basis. So, what I think what is more likely is that house prices will slow, maybe stabilize, might slow consumption spending a bit. I don’t think it’s gonna drive the economy too far from its full employment path, though.” July 2005

He was definitely wrong about the housing crisis and he’s wrong about Bitcoin. Not only was he wrong ,so were every other person working for the Federal Reserve, The US Treasury and those huge financial companies that were bailed out during the housing crisis.

If you had the government approved monopoly that allowed you to print trillions of dollars out of thin air and then give that newly printed cash to your friends, would you want anyone to disrupt the most lucrative racket in the history of humanity? That is why they are on one hand down playing Bitcoin as dangerous, unstable and unusable as a currency and while issuing a warning that they’ll use the force of government to ensure their money monopoly continues.

. They are afraid that individuals are going to recognize their true incompetence, their arrogance and their thievery and exit their current system and buy into Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can’t be stopped by the likes of Bernake or any government on Earth. They will try but they will fail. The BlockChain which is the public ledger that Bitcoin runs on isn’t stored in one place or even two places but in over a hundred thousand places including orbiting in space inside satellites.

Bitcoin has no central leader that the government goons can point a gun at to force him to shut it down. It isn’t controlled by a corporation the government can seize its assets and shut it down . It is something that those in government and in banking have never experienced before:

A true digital global currency that is borderless, not controlled by any individual, corporations, central banks or governments, and which individuals can transfer value from their smart phones to anywhere in the world without the need for the current financial system.

What the Old Financial Guard has failed to comprehend is that Bitcoin isn’t going away. The genie is out of the bottle and cryptocurrencies are the future. On GitHub right now there is the open source code for creating cryptocurrencies. Millions of people have the technological expertise to create their own cryptocurrency in about a weekend.

The Federal Reserve has had a nice run and has enriched the owners of the fractional reserve banking system with trillions of profits over the last 104 years, but those days are numbered. A new system of transferring value has been created and it doesn’t require a central bank, a government treasury, a government mint or their permission to use it.

This is a revolution that Bernake and the Bankers have yet to understand. Their monopoly on money creation and benefiting from being a part of the financial elite has ended. No longer will people be trapped in a banking system that profits by charging them for storing and facilitating moving their money.

Checking account fees will be a thing of the past just like long distance phone call charges.  Individuals who have the option of being their own bank for free with Bitcoin has no patience for a company charing for simply storing their money.

Wire fees of $30-$65 will be a thing of the past as well. Right now you can send a cryptocurrency from your phone to anyone in the world for at the most a few dollars. And it wont take up to a week like it does for International Wires. It can be done almost instantaneously. And you don’t have a government bureaucracy telling you who you can and can’t sent money to.

Every time you use your debit card banks make money. Interbank fees – fees they charge businesses for accepting debit cards generates billions per year for them each year. This profit center will be greatly diminished as more and more businesses accept Bitcoin as payment.

The only reason The Federal Reserve has the monopoly to create money in the United States is that the Federal Government benefits greatly from it. When the Federal Government spends more than it brings in with taxes it simply borrows money that the Federal Reserve Bank creates out of thin air. It would be impossible for the US Government to wage wars around the world, build and fill prisons at home and create the world’s largest surveillance system through taxation alone.

Ron Paul ran in 2008 and 2012 to End the Fed because of these very reasons. Up until Bitcoin was created there wasn’t a real means to accomplish this goal. Now with cryptocurrencies catching on around the world the grip of the Central Banking Cartel is beginning to loosen. As more and more people learn about why Bitcoin was created and what cryptocurrencies have to offer more and more people will begin to question the why do we still need a Central Banking System.

Opioid Prohibition is destined to fail

In Liberty, Medicinal Freedom, natural rights, True nature of the State on December 22, 2017 at 1:00 am

Prohibitions in this country don’t tend to stick. There is good reason for that. Humans want to be free to choose what to consume. Governments, do-gooders, and doctors will never change that.

Alcohol prohibition sparked the current War on Choice that we are currently suffering under. The campaign was puritanical in nature and the “social costs” of alcohol were frequently bandied about as a reason to ban it. But like all government interventions the Prohibition of Alcohol was a colossal failure. Instead of increasing morality in society it increased real crime.

Gangsters through violence became powerful and wealthy during Alcohol Prohibition. Governments grew more powerful as well. But the people got sick of the violence and the encroachment of Government into their lives and it was overturned.

But the philosophy and profits of prohibition were so appealing to those in power it would soon return. Once Alcohol Prohibition was gone the good people at the Bureau of Prohibition didn’t have anything to fight.

Henry Anslinger the head of the Bureau of Prohibition was determined to find a new target. It didn’t take him long to turn the puritanical racial attitudes that fueled the push to make alcohol illegal towards an evil weed, Marijuana.

Interestingly while Anslinger and The Bureau of Prohibition were busy busting up speakeasies he said that Cannabis didn’t harm people and didn’t make them violent. He changed his tune when his Department was axed. He became the head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and was instrumental in getting Marijuana Prohibition established at the Federal level.

Thanks to Anslinger’s lies about the health risks of Marijuana and the dubious anecdotes he collected, Reefer Madness swept the nation. It was fueled by blatant racism and puritanical self righteousness that we still see echoes of in the current opioid crisis propaganda. But like all prohibitions, Marijuana Prohibition was destined to fail.

Unlike with Alcohol Prohibition, Marijuana Prohibition wasn’t ended at the Federal level. But it’s effectively over. Millions and millions of Americans have defied the Federal Government, rejected their lies and propaganda and continued to use Cannabis despite Federal Prohibition for over seventy years.

We live in an era where the people have defied the Federal Government and won. Eight States have fully legalized Marijuana and another 21 have some form of a Medical Marijuana programs even though the DEA still has it as a Schedule I drug.

From their website:

Schedule I drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are:

heroin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), marijuana (cannabis), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy), methaqualone, and peyote

People have seen through the lies of the government and the philanthropic tyrants. Cannabis is safe and extremely effective for millions of people for a myriad of health issues and for improving well-being. The health benefits are astounding and more and more are being discovered all the time.

The current opioid crisis is the latest in a long line of hysterias that have swept this country based on government propaganda and spread by a compliant media. Alcohol and Marijuana proceeded it and have been overturned completely at the Federal level or by defiance at the local level. Opioids will be no different in the coming years.

Millions of people safely use pain pills everyday to help ease their suffering. The current hysteria has all the hallmarks of the classic prohibition manias of the past. There is a strong moral disgust component, an us versus them mentality, and a healthy dose of ignorance thrown in.

Those who profit from prohibition are the ones pushing the opioid crisis hype as well as the philanthropic tyrants who believe they alone know how others should live. How sociopathic must a person be to tell someone who is in physical pain that they can’t have their pain relieved because there are a small percentage of people who may overdose on a similar type of medicine?

That makes absolutely no sense.

The two main problems cited as being the “opioid crisis” are deaths due to overdose and addiction.

The majority of the deaths are due to illicit fentanyl laced heroin caused in large part by the War on Drugs & the US governments complicity in growing, protecting & shipping Afghanistan poppies. Afghanistan became the number one grower of illicit poppies in the world after the US government invasion.

If the deaths aren’t due to bad heroin they are usually attributable to combination of drugs which are prescribed to someone else or illegal.

The second problem cites is the bogey man of addiction. This is the issue that sparks the puritanical self righteousness which fuels these types of hysterias. Those who are addicted are viewed as morally weak and depraved. And people live in fear of pain pills. It is almost as if pain pills are seen as demons who will possess anyone and cause them to do horrible things to get their “fix”.

This is totally irrational. In reality addiction has its basis in biology and not in demonology. Plus it’s extremely rare. Only about 2-3% of people have the predisposition for real addiction. In the near future we will be able to test for this and get those who need actual help instead of locking them up.

The answer proposed to the above two problems is to place draconian restrictions on opioids for people in pain. That’s the great answer from the enlightened elites. Make people suffer more. Brilliant!

Chronic pain patients aren’t overdosing on illicit heroin. That is unless they have had their pain pill allotment cut and they are still in pain. By further restricting access to prescription pain pills the government is forcing those in pain to look to the black market for relief.

Could they in fact be doing this on purpose to get more people buying Afghanistan Heroin?

And on top of the Opioid Prohibition currently taking shape the DEA wants to Schedule I Kratom. It’s a plant from Southeast Asia that has amazing properties that can help ease pain and eliminate opioid withdrawal symptoms. Plus it’s extremely safe despite the government propaganda to the contrary.

I myself have used it and it works. I’ve been in chronic pain for 30 years and have taken pain pills ever since. Unfortunately I’ve also had my supply cut do to this opioid insanity and I do run out before the end of the month depending on my pain level.

I’m not addicted but I am physically habituated to Narcotics like most people who’ve taken them for decades. Addiction and habituation are not the same. Now when I don’t have pain pills for 48 hours my body does react in a negative way.

It’s extremely unpleasant. Being in pain plus going through physical withdrawal is almost unbearable. Kratom takes away 80-90% of the terrible withdrawal symptoms and eases my pain as well. It’s so empowering to know I have an option if I run out of pain medicine or can’t get a prescription refilled. And of course the DEA hates this and wants to ban it.

More prohibition is not the answer. Making people suffer in pain is not the answer. If the DEA wanted to save tens of thousands of lives they would legalize heroin tomorrow and leave Kratom alone.

Prohibition is big business not only for the government but also for crony capitalists who reap huge profits by filling their prisons. The DEA, FDA, CDC have their budgets at stake. Local police departments rely on grants and civil asset forfeiture sharing with the DEA. Unions who represent law enforcement and prison workers want more people in prison. The private companies that now run government stocked prisons have contracts requiring that 90% or more of the cells have to be filled or they receive increased compensation to make up the difference. Rehab centers want more and more people in their facilities as well. Each arrest means profit for someone. Prohibition fills the pockets of politicians, prison owners, Union Leaders, and law enforcement.

Don’t forget that the media makes a ton off of this as well. Fear sells. False sense of security sells as well. It always has. Alcohol Prohibition and Marijuana Prohibition were accomplished with complicity of the media.

There are also profits that go unseen but are just as powerful a motivator that keeps Prohibition in place. Black Market profits are laundered through the largest banks in the world, the CIA uses them to fund their dark operations, bribes from them line the pockets of politicians, law enforcement officers and judges.

Prohibition accomplishes none of what it promises and never will. Crime, corruption and violence multiplies because of it. Anyone who talks of the “societal cost” of the opioid crisis doesn’t understand the cost of chronic pain, the cost of the prison system, the cost of the War on Drugs, the cost of compliance by doctors and pharmacies, the hours wasted by patients who are forced to go back to the doctor to get a physical prescription, the cost of mandatory drug testing for pain patients, the cost of the SWAT teams, and the cost of the people living in fear of a tyrannical government who is forcing them to live in pain or risk going to prison.

The current opioid hysteria is being used as a way to rebrand the War on Drugs and ensure the increased budgets of the DEA, DOJ, CDC and FDA. The War on Drugs is extremely unpopular and people are questioning if it should even be waged. The majority of people know that the powers that be were lying for decades about the dangers of Cannabis. Just like Harry Anslinger in the 1930’s needed a new target after the ending of Alcohol Prohibition the DEA needed to swing attention away from the failure of Marijuana Prohibition to a new target – enter the Opioid Crisis.

People want to be free to make their own choices. That will never change. Prohibition of any kind is a battle that can never be won. Look at drugs inside of prisons. The State can’t even keep them out of secure buildings that they have 100% control over.

That is why the opioid crisis propaganda is not focusing on illegal opioids. Instead the target is doctors and people in pain. The powers that be are issuing new restrictive guidelines for doctors to limit the prescribing of pain pills. It’s the same reason why cops give speeding tickets instead of going after known criminals. The criminals have guns and they payoff the cops. Everyday citizens caught “speeding” are easy pickings just like people in pain are.

The sick and suffering are being targeted because they are an easy target. Those sick and suffering don’t give up easy though. Opioids are effective and safe. People in pain shouldn’t be forced to suffer because of politicians colluding with bureaucrats, prison owners, and law enforcement unions to brand them as criminals because they seek the most effective tool to eliminate their pain which are opioids.

A backlash is occurring against Opioid Prohibition though and it will continue to grow in proportion to the degree its enforced. Make no mistake the government would love to outlaw all opioids. That would keep the prisons full, law enforcement budgets fat, and politicians pockets filled with bribes and kickbacks.

Opioid Prohibition is destine to end just as Alcohol and Marijuana Prohibition did. People will see through the lies of the do-gooders, the social reformers, the philanthropic tyrants, the government doctors, the corrupt politicians and the ambitious bureaucrats and will end it at the Federal level, at the local level or just ignore it. If there is demand there will always be supply.

The problem with the philosophy of prohibition is that it has no logical end. Everything you ingest causes some harm. The very air you breathe coupled with the food you eat is causing oxidative damage in your body that will eventually contribute to your death.

Will the prohibition pushers next target be food? Will we all be required to have a prescription for the food we buy? Why not? That would be inline with the philosophy of prohibition.

The societal cost of obesity, diabetes and heart disease are thousands of times more than the cost of individuals using opioids. Food plays an enormous role in these deadly and debilitating diseases. If the same logic for opioid prohibition is to be used to help the most people than it should be applied to all products with wheat and sugar, and vegetable oil in them. They all contribute to causing so called lifestyle diseases.

And all other foods would be by prescription only of course. They could be called food pyramid prescriptions. Only the enlightened elite know what’s best for us. Think of a supermarket that has all the food locked behind shelves. You have to present a government approved doctor written list of the foods you are allowed to buy. That is the future we are heading to if the do-gooders, the social planners, and the politicians continue with using prohibition as a means to restrict freedom for a nebulous purpose such as lowering “societal costs”.

If you thinkthat could never happen go and try to buy Sudafed off the shelf. That’s right you can’t it’s locked up behind the counter and you have to show ID and sign for it. Remember how Meth was the biggest threat the United States ever faced back in 2005? Taking away your ability to buy Sudafed without being tracked didn’t have the results they were hoping for. Last year alone Americans bought about $13 billion worth of Meth.

The philosophy behind prohibition is truly evil and has no logical end. If societal costs are the only measure for the use of force against peaceful individuals than all behavior is on the table for possible prohibition. Driving, owning firearms, swimming, showering, or other “dangerous” activities could be next.

The social engineers are never satisfied. They think they can perfect society if only they can use the force of government to implement their utopian schemes. They blame every ill of society on individual freedom while they think the actions of the government are perfect or at worse haven’t gone far enough. In fact they clamor for more government action never less. They believe they are the enlightened and educated elite who have a duty to save the ignorant masses from themselves. Of course by doing so they gain power, prestige and money.

Prohibition is based upon the belief that individuals don’t own themselves and shouldn’t have a choice of what to ingest because it could have “societal costs”. And how do they propose to do this? By making criminals out of peaceful individuals.

Taking pain pills is not a crime against humanity. True crime is violence committed against a person or his property. Ingesting a pill doesn’t qualify as a crime. Limiting access to a drug that eases physical suffering is. Using the force of government to force people to endure pain is tantamount to torture. The personal cost of pain is infinitely more expensive than any so called societal cost can ever be.

Americans are the only nation in the history of the world founded on a revolutionary idea: that our rights come from our humanity and not from the state. This fire of freedom still burns brightly in the hearts of millions. Prohibition of Opioids will end by voting or by massive civil disobedience.

One possible peaceful way to effectively end Opioid Prohibition is for every person in chronic pain to grow their own poppy plants in their backyard or indoors under lights. (I of course don’t advocate breaking the law)

If there was (hypothetically of course) a peaceful movement that encouraged and helped everyone who wanted to control the means to ease their physical suffering; to grow poppy flowers, Opioid Prohibition would be impossible enforce.

Every backyard would have a few of these plants and every individual who chose to take control of easing his or her own physical pain, would have on hand the most effective mix of compounds humans have every discovered for eliminating pain, the sap of the poppy.

It was the underground Cannabis Cultivation culture that greatly helped end Marijuana Prohibition. In fact one day they were “illegal growers” and after legalization they were now “legal growers”. It can happen that fast.

.

A powerful backyard pharmcacy could be created by growing poppy plants, different strains of Cannabis, and medicinal mushrooms including the magic kind. If you’ve ever grown your own food you know the amazing satisfaction and power you feel being able to feed yourself directly from your own effort. Now think what it will feel like when you can ease your physical suffering from the sap of a poppy plant you grow in your medicinal garden.

That my friend is how you fix healthcare. It’s with more freedom not less.

The poppy plant is a miracle of nature. It has eased the physical suffering of millions and millions of people. Very few ever become addicted and even less overdose on “legal” or “illegal” opioids. Humans have made choices about what to ingest long before the FDA, DEA or any other government agency existed. People and poppies go back thousands and thousands of years.

The backlash is coming. Governments could in the past get away with lying but no more. People are too informed and too connected through the internet. You can see groups banding together online because pain transcends artificial political boundaries.

Every individual has an innate right to consume what they choose and to be responsible for their actions. Pain pills aren’t a special class of property. They shouldn’t be locked behind a counter, you shouldn’t be required to obtain a prescription from a doctor to buy them and once you own them you should do with them what you choose.

Until we have true Medicinal Freedom in this country the less government intervention in the healthcare choices the better. Ending the War on people in pain is a great place to start.

Bitcoin and Banking

In Banking, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Free Market Miracles, True nature of the State on December 15, 2017 at 1:20 am

bitcoin-2730220_960_720

What will banking look like in five years? Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are challenging the money monopoly that banks and governments have functioned under for millennia.

Banks exist in this country today because of the Federal Government and its money printers at the Federal Reserve. This system is designed to siphon wealth from the masses into the pockets of bankers through fees and especially inflation.

Technology in Banking has changed enormously in the past twenty five years but its core principles of inflation and fee charging have not. The use of debit cards, direct deposit and online banking has habituated banking customers to viewing money as digital more and more.

I’ve been in banking for over ten years as a personal banker. Everyday I am trying to make my job more and more obsolete. I recommend customers do more and more self directed banking by electronic means. Individuals may soon realize that if they can move money electronically why can’t they do so without a bank?

Millions of people are having this realization today with all the attention around the price of Bitcoin.
We tend to think that how things work today is how they’ve always worked and that they will continue working this way into the future. Everything we use on a daily basis goes counter to this human tendency to dismiss new technology and forget how things used to work. Twenty years ago the long distant phone business was a 20 billion dollar a year business. Now 80% of all phone calls are done through Skype and no one even talks about long distant charges any more. The cost of storing and moving money is going through a similar revolution right now.

Bankers think that cryptocurrencies aren’t a threat because of their place on top of the Financial/Political Hierarchy. They believe that people will never be able to break out of the Federal Reserve/Federal Government Financial System. But it’s the Banking System’s regulatory controls,  loan requirements, invasion of privacy through spying on their own customers for the IRS and homeland security, charging fees for moving 1s and 0s, and using an archaic systems to process the movement of those funds which is driving customers to become angry and unsatisfied enough to consider an alternative.

Bitcoin is that alternative. It and other cyrptocurrenices offer movement of money around the world for pennies. It also ends the ability of the government to use banks to spy on you. Every transaction you make with a debit or credit card is recorded. Banks work hand in hand with the government and are basically deputized agents of the IRS, Homeland Security, DEA, and FBI. (The transactions of Bitcoin are transparent with the blockchain but near anonymity can be achieved which is totally impossible with traditional banking).

There are other more privacy focused coins like Monero and Zcash which can totally anonymize transactions if that’s your preference. I believe that as governments move against cryptocurrencies privacy coins will be more and more used.

Cryptocurencies are also apolitical. They don’t require the power of the state to create them or require their permission to send them to whom one chooses. Right now the US government monitors every outgoing and incoming wire into the US. They do this to prevent individuals from sending money to individuals in countries the US government doesn’t like.

Bitcoin will never need a bailout. As time passes on we forget about how insane the bank bailouts were. The entire financial world was collapsing because of the Federal Reserve System which is based upon Fractional Reserve Banking and Printing money out of thin air. This system is built to be unstable. That’s why it requires the FDIC and uses government regulations to lull the public into believing its not going to implode again in the near future, which it will.  Since Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies aren’t issued by a government sanctioned central bank or regulated by them they can never be bailed out.

Banking should be treated like every other business in America and be responsible for its actions. Those who choose to use Bitcoin are taking the risk themselves. Those that invest in companies that mine Bitcoin are taking a risk. Those that trade Bitcoin are taking a risk. Life is inherently risky. No one can predict the future. Unless you are a banker. You know that the Financial System will fail again and again you’ll be calling up your Senator or Secretary of Treasury demanding to be bailed out.

Remember that Congress voted no at first to a bank bailout, for about 700 million. But after pressure they caved and authorized it along with countless other measures to ensure the criminally ran Federal Reserve Financial system wouldn’t fail. The American people weren’t for this at all. It will be interesting to see what happens the next time the banks fail and go to Congress.

Another great aspect of Bitcoin is that it can’t be confiscated or effectively banned by governments. The push to ban cash is hot right now in the banking world and governments are keen to do this. They want cash banned because it is anonymous and governments think every one of their citizens is a criminal.  Last year India banned the two biggest denominations, constituting 83% of the value of their currency. This devastated small businesses and people who transacted in cash which are those who don’t have bank accounts.

The reason given for banning cash is to catch tax cheats and money launderers. The true reason is that cash gives people freedom and privacy. Those are two things that all governments want their citizens to have less of. Banning cash forces people into their version of digital money which is far different than Bitcoin. It is a money that can be seized in a second even if you’ve never been convicted of a crime, you can have your accounts closed without your knowledge for sending money to an individual who lives in a country the US government is at war with, and governments can steal your money through negative interest rates. Surveillance and theft are the tools of the state.

Fortunately Government monopolies create terrible products, whether it’s the post office, public schools or the current dollar based system. Bitcoin is a cutting edge product that will outcompete the dinosaur that is the Federal Reserve System. It will revolutionize not only how individuals think about money but also how they perceive the role of government interference in their daily choices. Once you can be your own bank and send money around the world without any financial company or government involvement you will start looking at the other surveillance and control systems that rule our lives and begin to wonder if we truly need government involved in the choices we make.

The two most regulated industries are banking and healthcare. If we don’t need government to create or to move money maybe we don’t need them involved in healthcare either. The track record of government involvement with healthcare is worse than banking. Maybe we don’t need or want them to tell us anymore what we can or can’t consume? No huge financial institution created Bitcoin and no government “approved” it. Maybe we are on the verge of people rejecting the idea we need government involved in our healthcare decisions and that entities like the FDA and DEA are as unnecessary as the Federal Reserve?

Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 wrote the “white paper” describing Bitcoin and how to implement it. His motivation to create this incredible invention was the 2007 Financial Meltdown and the ensuing Bank Bailouts. In fact the “Genesis Block” the block that launched Bitcoin has within it a copy of the “Financial Times” dated Jan, 03 2009. The headline reads “Chancellor on Brink of Second Bailout of Banks”. This is the day Bitcoin was born.

The more governments use surveillance, theft and force to control our lives the more innovations will be created to challenge them. Bitcoin is the greatest step in the advancement of human liberty in the last 200 years. I believe that words on parchment are terrible ways to secure individual liberty. As we’ve seen with the total disregard for the Constitution by our Government overlords.

The only way to secure liberty is through the immutable laws of mathematics. No matter how powerful a government maybe, no bombs, or laws or armies can change the laws of math. Force is useless against cryptography, which is the branch of mathematics cryptocurrencies are named after and that Bitcoin uses. Bitcoin is the first invention in the history of the world that secures individual sovereignty which can not be intimidated, destroyed, or stopped by any government in the Universe.

Every individual owns themselves and ownership denotes control. You have the innate right to control what you ingest or what you use as money or who you send that money to, without the need for government or corporate involvement. Right now anyone in the world with a smart phone can send digital, decentralized, secure, cryptocurrenices to anyone in the world in seconds for just pennies anonymously.

This is truly an amazing time to be alive.

Two True Government Conspiracies Bryan Callen should know about

In Banking, True nature of the State on December 12, 2017 at 10:28 pm

Bryan Callen, a hilarious stand up comedian and actor was recently on The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast episode #1045. For three hours Joe and Bryan talked about many subjects and actually busted out signing a duet at one point. It was a good listen.

During the conversation government conspiracies came up. Bryan Callen’s opinion is that governments aren’t able to pull off big conspiracies because someone involved would spill the beans and in general governments are incompetent.

I think that is a naive and ill-informed opinion. In fact there are two huge government conspiracies that are going on right now and they affect every American. They are the Federal Reserve Central Banking System and the CIA’s involvement in The War on Drugs. Both of these continuing conspiracies erode personal liberty, promote violence, and destroys lives.

The Federal Reserve System was cooked up and passed due to the conspiring of a few powerful bankers and their political allies. This system was designed to use inflation to siphon off wealth from the American people and deposit it into the pockets of the bankers. For the privilege of printing the currency in the United States the Federal Reserve Bank would loam limitless amounts of this newly printed paper money to the U.S. Federal Government. This is still going on to this day.

I highly recommend Bryan read “The Creature From Jekyll Island” to get the full story of this true life conspiracy.

The second example of a legitimate conspiracy is the CIA’s involvement with the War on Drugs. In fact the CIA has been aligned with and supported drug traffickers around the world since the Korean War.

Instead of “fighting” the War on Drugs they actually facilitate the growing and distribution of them. During the Korean War they armed rebel Chinese Generals in Burma in exchange for intelligence on the North Koreans. These Generals used the weapons to guard their poppy fields.

During the Vietnam War the CIA armed drug producers in Laos and even used their own airline called “Air America” to fly the heroin out. In fact in one instance two agents with the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (precursor to the DEA) stopped a plane that had Tide detergent boxes filled with heroin. Turns out it was a CIA owned plane and the CIA told the BNDD agents to stand down and it flew away to deliver its cargo of drugs.

The CIA’s involvement in East Asia created the Golden Triangle which was the largest producer of Heroin up until The War in Afghanistan. A year after the US invasion, Afghanistan became the number one producer of poppy plants for illegal drugs in the world.

To this day Afghanistan grows 90% of the world’s illegal poppy plants. Are they really illegal poppy fields if the CIA and the US war machine are helping protect them? U.S. soldiers have guarded poppy fields because the CIA wanted to use the Warlords who control these areas as informants.

The Federal Reserve System and the CIA’s involvement with the War on Drugs are two true life government conspiracies that continue to have terrible negative consequences to this day. Bryan is a smart dude and once he starts digging into these he may change his mind about the possibility of massive government conspiracies.

Personally I believe that all drugs should be legal. This would end the War on Drugs and prevent the CIA from using the black market premium on them. And I believe we shouldn’t have a Central bank controlling the value of our money. Fortunately we are seeing the rise of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which are threatening to unravel the whole Central Banking scheme. Legalizing Drugs and Ending the Fed would eliminate two huge scourges on humanity and truly limit the government’s ability to perpetrate vast conspiracies.

The FDA is wrong about Kratom

In Liberty, Medicinal Freedom, natural rights, True nature of the State on December 7, 2017 at 11:07 pm

Last month the Commissioner of the FDA Dr. Scot Gotlieb issued a press release concerning Kratom. Who would have thought a piece of government propaganda would be full of lies, misrepresentations and authoritarian arrogance.

https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm584970.htm

Kratom must be something really horrible and dangerous if the FDA and DEA want to ban it, right?

Kratom is a plant that grows in Southeast Asia. There are many different strains that have helped people relieve pain, fatigue, depression and manage the symptoms of opioid withdrawal for centuries.

I personally have used Kratom as a adjunct pain reliever and to help with opioid withdrawal symptoms. I have found it very effective with no side effects.

What’s ironic is that I started taking Kratom because of the DEA and the FDAs actions last year. If the DEA hadn’t attempted to classify Kratom as a Schedule I drug I wouldn’t have found the hundreds of compelling and passionate videos of folks telling their story about how it’s changed their lives for the better.

The entire recent press release from the head of the FDA has no specifics about why Kratom should be illegal. He stresses it should be illegal because of a smattering of calls to Poison Control, 36 deaths which weren’t caused by Kratom and the fact that there is no scientific evidence for its efficacy and safety.

There is in fact evidence that it is safe and effective. In fact you can go online right now and do what I did before deciding to take Kratom and see the thousands of videos online in which individuals detail how they’ve greatly helped by it. I don’t think the commissioner did this. For thousands of years this plant has been used safely.

Dr. Gotlieb doesn’t want individuals to take Kratom because it’s unapproved. Well Cannabis is also unapproved but it’s used by millions of people everyday and has been used by humans for at least 5000 years. How long has the FDA been around?

Kratom is no different. In fact every adult has a natural right to choose what he or she consumes. We don’t need his permission to do so.

I trust thousands of years of indigenous use and the thousands of testimonials online that Kratom can help with serious conditions like pain and depression. The internet has destroyed the monopoly on medical information once held by those in power. He does however fail to talk about the thousands and thousands that have died from approved drugs since the FDA was created.

Thirty six deaths have been blamed on Kratom. Of these the autopsies are problematic and others will not be released to the public. Millions of people in this country and around the world take this plant medicine without dying. If were as unsafe as he claims hundreds or thousands would be dead. That’s just not the reality.

He further implies that only the FDA can keep Americans safe and ensure they are taken care of by the medical system. He fails to talk about the 250,000 deaths caused by medical errors each year by government licensed healthcare providers. He might want to spend some time on that.

This entire press release besides attacking Kratom is also an attack on anyone who desires to exercise medicinal freedom. This press release and the actions it describes are meant to keep people within government controlled healthcare and the pharmaceutical pipeline so they become dependent on the power of the prescription pad.

The hysteria around the risks of Kratom and the so called opioid crisis is being spread as a way to rebrand the immensely unpopular War on Drugs.

The compounds that make Kratom effective are in fact being being studied because they don’t have the same abuse and addiction potential as prescription opioids. That being said the rate of actual addiction with opioids is less than 3% of users.

If Dr. Gotlieb wanted to help those with addiction and with managing opioid withdrawal he would be encouraging the use of Kratom. There is nothing I’ve found and thousands and maybe millions of others have as well, a more effective means of alleviating the misery of opioid withdrawal symptoms.

All Dr. Gotlieb needs to do is spend an hour watching the videos of people crying when they explain how Kratom helped them kick heroin. There is a quote that I heard Dan Carlin say and that is “quantity has a quality all its own”. Even though those people and myself weren’t part of a double blind placebo study we know it has helped eliminate opioid withdrawal symptoms.

He believes along with the upper echelons of the FDA and DEA to determine what I should ingest and that I am too stupid to figure out what dosages to take. I figured out the right dosage of Kratom through personal experimentation, from the advice from the local health food shop and from those sharing their experiences in online videos. People aren’t as helpless, stupid or incompetent as the FDA Commissioner fears

Throughout the press release he admonished we the public that we should only go to government licensed health care providers and only use approved drugs. I myself have been chronically ill for 30 years. In that time I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals and going to doctors. Today I’m still sick and in chronic pain everyday. I like millions of other Americans are tired of the traditional paternal Medical system and know that we can make our own health choices without government interference.

In the press release he misleads with statistics. He cites the tenfold increase in calls to poison control. In reality there were 26 calls in 2005 and a whopping 660 calls in 2015 representing about .003 percent of the 3 million total calls to poison control per year. And 93% of those calls were concerning minor side effects.

To further put these 660 calls concerning Kratom to Poison Control in perspective, they received this year alone 9996 calls for kids being exposed to laundry detergent and 17,000 calls about kids and hand sanitizer. He deliberately mislead the American people to gin up support for this immoral and criminal attack on Kratom.

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/wr/mm6529a4.

http://www.aapcc.org/alerts/laundry-detergent-packets

He also mentions the 32 deaths associated with Kratom. What he doesn’t mention is that zero deaths have been linked to Kratom being used by itself. All of these deaths occurred when a individual ingested multiple substances.

Next he laments the lack of research and urges those who support the uses of Kratom to submit drugs containing Kratom through the FDA approval system. This was before he bragged about how his agency has overseen the voluntary destruction of hundreds of shipments of Kratom and vowed to stop them all.

It’s a catch-22 for researchers. Do the research but without the plant. It’s the same issue researchers have dealt with since Cannabis Prohibition was passed. The FDA would also love to have supporters of Kratom abandon their position that its a safe and natural supplement and not a drug. If those who support Kratom they need to keep it out of the FDA Machine.

How can anyone trust the FDA or the DEA? They have constantly lied to the public about Cannabis, MDMA, and psilocybin Mushrooms. These same institutions are using their tried and true playbook to stop individuals from taking safe and effective natural medicines and driving them by force to doctors who have the power of the prescription pad.

The evidence is mostly anecdotal now but more and more research is showing it is effective at pain relief, helping ease anxiety and depression as well as treat opioid withdrawal symptoms. If the DEA and FDA bam Kratom it will be almost impossible for researchers to study its effects.

Here is a scientific analysis using the DEA’s own 8 Factor criteria from The American Kratom Association. In it Kratom clears all 8 categories and proves using their own criteria that it should be legal and left alone.

https://d3n8a8pro7vhmx.cloudfront.net/americankratomassociation/pages/21/attachments/original/1485630505/Henningfield_Eight_Factor_Analysis.pdf?1485630505

The FDA urges supporters p Kratom to use their botanical drug products approval process which in reality is designed to allow big pharma to patent compounds found in plants. This is a clear attempt to stop individuals from buying Kratom and forcing people to buy instead pharmaceuticals based on the plant. The same process is going on with Cannabis. Just like with Cannabis I believe that taking the whole Kratom leaf is the best way to go instead of using extracts. Kratom has many different compounds that work in my opinion synergistically just like the cannabinoids do in Cannabis. Kratom is a plant medicine that people have been using for thousands of years. Millions of people have taken it and the safety profile far exceeds the majority of drugs approved by the FDA. The real point to his entire speech is that the American people are too stupid to make their own healthcare decisions. Only government licensed doctors dispensing government approved drugs can be used by those who are sick and suffering. There is no public. There are only individuals. And thousands of individuals have found Kratom to be effective at easing their suffering and making life more tolerable. Do you think politicians have your best interest at heart? Do you think the FDA is not in league with pharmaceutical companies? Do you think that the FDA’s arrival process is meant to protect individuals or protect the profits of pharmaceutical companies? What if I don’t want the FDA to have the authority to protect me? What if I want to live in a country where my natural right to consume what I choose is respected and I can buy any man made compound or natural medicine to ease my suffering or assuage my symptoms as I see fit? He doesn’t address this question.I don’t want him or any other bureaucrat helping to prevent a substance I know to be safe and effective from getting a grip on me. What he is definitely not concerned about is what does have a grip on me which is chronic pain and a medical system that treats me like a child and a criminal at the same time. As an adult in the so called land of the free, a nation built on the bedrock of natural rights which includes along with the Freedom of Speech the Freedom of consumption, I like every other adult own myself and I can choose to ingest a substance and bear the consequences. The oxygen you’re breathing right now and the food you ate today will eventually kill you. The oxidative stress metabolism causes creates free radical molecules that reek havoc on your body. They destroy enzymes that protect your DNA and cause lipid peroxidation which is linked to causing over 200 hundred diseases including Heart Disease and Cancer, the two biggest killers in this country. No one gets out of this world alive. While we are here we shouldn’t be restricted in what substance we use to make our stay here on Earth more enjoyable. When you are sick and suffering the last thing you need is Dr. Scott Gotlieb or any other bureaucrat of the FDA or DEA or any other agency standing between you and relief. Keep Kratom legal and legalize all drugs!Brad MillerAdvocate of Medicinal Freedom

Medicinal Freedom – an innate natural right

In Free Market Miracles, Liberty, Medicinal Freedom, natural rights, True nature of the State on December 6, 2017 at 1:22 am

I believe that every individual has he right to consume what they choose to and to also bear the consequences of those choices.

Medicinal Freedom is simply the ability to exercise this natural innate right without restriction from the government. In the near future I believe that we will have true Medicinal Freedom. This means that every individual can buy any and every type of synthetic or natural medicine they choose.

Not only will adults be able to buy any type of medicines they choose, they will also be able to grow our own. This freedom will allow individuals to treat their symptoms and to ease their suffering for a fraction of the cost they can now with even more effective options.Anyone will be able to create their own medicinal garden or backyard pharmacy.

Think of a backyard pharmacy in which you have different strains of Cannabis that have the mix of cannabinoids specific to treat your symptoms. Cannabinoids such as CBD, CBN, and of course THC have been proven to help treat the symptoms of diseases ranging from Migraines to Epilepsy and even in helping to treat cancer.

Along with Cannabis you could grow a medicinal mushroom patch which would include species that can lower cholesterol, help treat cancer, boost your immune system and help to enhance your mental wellbeing. In addition to mushrooms and cannabis many people would choose to grow poppy plants as well.

For thousands of years humans have used the milk of the poppy to ease physical suffering. With a garden full of poppy plants those with pain will no longer have to suffer and be without adequate relief. And that adequate relief will be defined bythe individual not by some suit at the DEA, CDC or FDA or by an ignorant authoritarian grandstanding politician.

In addition to being able to grow our own backyard pharmacy, in an atmosphere of Medicinal Freedom, pharmaceutical companies will no longer be able to hide behind the power of government. They will have to produce much more affordable safer and effective drugs because they will be selling directly to the consumer. Currently they enjoy a diffusion of responsibility because of the FDA, DEA, and the prescription restriction racket. In this new atmosphere of freedom and responsibility Drug companies will have to compete with safe and effective medicines that individuals can grow at home. Further competition will come from new startups that focus on harnessing the power of nature to cure, treat and prevent diseases. These new market forces will cause drug companies to change what products they produce as well as how they sell them.

I can envision a future in which Pfizer and Merk will open their own retail locations. They could even have doctors in their stores to offer free health consultations and even free blood tests. This would be an effort to keep you in their product ecosystem. Other drug companies who don’t have a direct retail presence will choose to sell their offerings at places like Walmart or even through Amazon.

Drug safety in this environment would actually increase. Right now the FDA protects drug companies by allowing them to sell products that kill and maim millions of people. The corrupt prescription and patent system allow them to rake in Billions in profits which they are then able to settle the lawsuits for their dangerous products.Without the shield of the FDA drug companies will be no different than any other company in America. They will have to produce a safe product or be held responsible.

Third party testing companies will emerge as well to increase safety. Drug companies or natural medicine companies could charge a premium for having their product’s purity and safety verified. Online reviews would also help people make the decision whether to buy a medicine or not. This collective type of wisdom is how humanity determined what was safe to eat or what was effective as medicines for millennia.

When we have true Medicinal Freedom drug safety will be increased, healthcare costs will plummet, new more effective natural medicines will be brought to market, and individuals will be able to grow their own backyard pharmacy.

Bitcoin explained in 60 sec

In Banking, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Free Market Miracles, Liberty, natural rights on December 4, 2017 at 1:55 pm

What is Bitcoin? Bitcoin is a proven and secure decentralized digital currency and payment system. There are about 800 other crypto-currencies out there but Bitcoin is the grandfather of them all. Bitcoin and other decentralized digital currencies are the next evolution in money because they aren’t issued and controlled by a government and do not require financial institutions to store or to send them. This technology is revolutionizing banking, politics and global peace because individuals are now empowered to send money to anyone around the world with just their phone.

Trump’s ill-advised donation and the Opioid Crisis

In Liberty, natural rights on December 3, 2017 at 11:46 am
Trump donated his 3rd quarter salary to The Department of Health and Human Services last week. He designated the money to go towards the education of Americans to help combat the opioid crisis. In other words he wants more government propaganda that is filled with misinformation and outright lies about compounds derived from the opioid plant. This to me is a mistake. The HHS has a trillion dollar budget and along with the War on Drugs has created a healthcare system that is broken due to the absence of true individual choice. This donation besides being given to a corrupt, bloated and inefficient government entity is also adding to the lie based hysteria called the Opioid Crisis.
Those who claim there is an Opioid Epidemic (which actually makes no sense) is based upon the 33,000 Opioid involved deaths in the last year. In reality the vast majority of these deaths are caused by black market heroin laced with fentanyl. The War on Drugs and the ridiculous prescription restriction medical cartel has contributed to these deaths. I believe every adult has the right to consume what substances they choose. When individuals are free to buy what substances they want to for their own reasons, the cost of healthcare will plummet, deaths from adulterated black market products will end and individuals will get adequate relief for their emotional and physical pain.
Trump could have donated his taxpayer salary to MAPS if he really wanted to help people. MAPS is funding research that has proven that MDMA is a great treatment for folks with PTSD and their budget is only $5.1 million. Another option for Trump’s donation would be to fund research that is aimed at reducing the top three killers of Americans which are Cardiovascular disease which kills 600,000+ per year, Cancer which kills another 600,000 and medical errors hat kill an estimated 250,000 people per year. He could have also brought much needed media attention to the tragedy of suicide in the US. Over 44,000 people per year take their own life.
The opioid crisis is merely a rebranding of the War on Drugs. With the legalization of Cannabis in many states and the backlash for their plans to Schedule I Kratom, those who profit from the War on Drugs are looking for anyway to stay relevant and maintain their levels of funding. In fact the so-called experts say that billions and billions will be needed to combat the opioid crisis. If they really wanted to eliminate a vast majority of the opioid related deaths they could tomorrow legalize heroin. Instead the CDC and the VA are setting guidelines for doctors to reduce or even eliminate the use of effective pain medications that people with pain need. This will lead more people to look to the black market, which will result in more deaths. We don’t need more government intervention in our healthcare decisions.
We definitely do not need more government propaganda that is filled with lies concerning pain medicine. What we truly need is more freedom.
